Still a little "insider tip" in the Bonn area! I love going back here again and again. Great and very well-kept ambience with a beautiful outdoor area as a highlight right on the runway where you can watch the planes, helicopters, zeppelin and co. Also ideal for families, as the said outdoor area is directly adjacent to a playground with direct access, the children are busy and the constant air traffic makes every visit an experience for young and old. :-) And of course not to forget: Selected range of very tasty and high-quality dishes and drinks at a very good price / performance ratio ?? VERY GOOD and lovingly detailed cuisine, whether breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Exquisite and not too large menu. Outside area during the day in the sun under the partial shade of the large trees enjoy your food and / or drink, in the evening great and very comfortably lit. The interior is tasteful and modern, very cozy with an all-round view of the outside through the large glass front (but the number of tables is limited as the dining room is relatively small, so it's best to reserve or call in advance ☝?) Access to the restaurant is through the main entrance of the flight school KölnBonn. (That might be a bit "irritating" for one or the other on the first visit, BUT don't worry, just go straight through the foyer and you are in the Udets, where everyone is welcome, whether you fly yourself or not ?

A great location. Located directly at the airfield, with a wide view of the Michelsberg. The food is very tasty there, but with waiting time everything is freshly prepared. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. All tables were occupied, we waited 35 minutes for food, but it's worth it. The ladies had a hand to do, keep up the good work.

Very cozy, nice atmosphere, small but nice menu. Yes, you wait a bit because the workflows are not optimal, but in my experience that is limited. I love to be here.

I rarely write a review, but here it is appropriate. Waiting time from order to meal over an hour with counted 9 occupied tables. Order 3x tarte flambée 2x burger Staff mercilessly overwhelmed with the 9 tables. You always had to ask twice to get another drink. Unfortunately, the food was delivered in stages. The fries for the burger stood alone on the table for 10 minutes until the burger came. The specially ordered ketchup to go with the fries came after two orders after everyone had actually finished eating. Too bad. The hammer came with the payment. We had i.a. Ordered 2x a Russn (wheat + limo). It was said that there is no such thing. Without further ado, we ordered 2 half-full wheat + extra lemonade. So far so good. Then 2 normal wheat + the soda were billed. Cheek. When asked, it was only said that it had to be calculated that way. A little hint before ordering would have been nice. The restaurant actually has a nice outdoor area, but I can only advise against eating here. How one can afford such service is a mystery to me. Drinks are almost exclusively available in 0.2L bottles. Not so sparkling either, given the fact that it is difficult to reorder. What a pity. That was the only and last visit here.

After waiting for over an hour, the food finally came, but for each person individually every 10 minutes. The waitresses forget what was ordered when they leave the table and in the end too much is billed, with the reason "the boss said it couldn't be any other way". Once and never again!

We have now been there twice. The food is fresh, plentiful, tasty and the price / performance ratio is in our opinion. Service always friendly and responsive. All corona protection measures were carried out in the guest room and beer garden as far as we can judge. The beer garden is nice.

We were at Udet's again and we would actually like it very much, but unfortunately the very nice staff seems to be overwhelmed, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Obviously an organizational problem? The boss apparently has other priorities than drawing up a viable work plan. Too bad. In any case, our service gave everything, so that we will "dare" to visit again. Hopefully not for the last time.

Bad service. Waited 55 minutes for my waffle. Unfortunately, this was also with cherries. So order back and wait 15 minutes again. Hopelessly understaffed and therefore overwhelmed.

My partner and I were able to enjoy a 4-course menu here on our anniversary. From the starter to the espresso afterwards, everything just tasted excellent. We have never eaten such a perfect fillet, but above all the super friendly and courteous service created the perfect atmosphere. Thanks to her, you immediately felt comfortable and welcome. Definitely our new favorite restaurant, which we definitely recommend. Thank you for the great evening !

A great ambiance, super friendly service and the Schnitzel was the best I have had in a long time. Everything freshly prepared, even the fries are homemade! I highly recommend it! There is a great modern outdoor terrace and a beautifully made children's playground, with everything that makes children's hearts beat faster, all with views of the airfield!

a very nice destination in the immediate vicinity. a beautiful outdoor restaurant overlooking the Hangelar airport. very tasty food lovingly prepared and it is always a pleasure, for breakfast or a Feierabendbier there. Many thanks to the friendly dedicated team ?

Nice place, especially when you want to have a cup of coffee, while your kids enjoy their curiosity of flight.

At an evening party here we had great service and a good buffet. The location is somewhat remote (public transport not the best option) there's plenty of parking. The restaurant is nicely decorated and felt comfortable. Again though, the attentive and efficient staff made us feel welcome. Can't speak for the price as we were invited.

Just very OK. Service is rather slow and the waitress was a bit unorganized. Burger is just barely tolerable. Actually didn’t even want to finish it. Not worth the price, in my opinion.

Good and pleasant atmosphere

Naaaaajjjjaaaaaa ... But you have to want to look after the local restaurant inventory in order to rave about the food here. Outside in summer the terrace is awesome, but the food is devoid of depth. Especially since the waiting times are absurdly long. The choice of drinks as expected. The service is nice and uncomplicated
